II have an Eliza Alexander who married a Henry Coulter. They settled in Graves County KY about the same time as your Alexanders moved to Calloway Co. At least one of their children was born in Tenn. but haven't as yet tried to find out where. There are several Alexander children listed in a family bible belonging to one of their daughters. One is a Mollie Alexander born April 6, 1844 and another Rose Alexander born June 30, 1844. I don't have a clue as who they belong to. However I feel strongly that some of Eliza's brothers must have been in the area - no proof. There must have been sisters also because I have name other than Alexander and Coulter in this bible listing for births in this same time frame from 1839 - 1840. surnames are Hurt, Boyd and Baker. The first daughter of Eliza and Henry was Harriet L. and the first Son was Nathaniel A. Eliza's birth is listed as May 20, 1797. If I am not mistaken I think I saw and Alexander Cemetery listed in the various cemetery books on Graves Co. If any of this is usable please let me know - Your Alexander could be Eliza's brother.
