Hi Kenneth, Do you know who were the parents of your Elizabeth? My guess is that our lines cross one or two generations back. I have a Hugh LEEPER (LEIPER), Jr. born in 1798 in NC (but maybe the western part of NC now TN, and died in 1818 (?). His father, Hugh LEEPER (LEIPER) , Sr. may have been born about 1775/80 in Virginia, and seems to have come west to TN very early. Present day's Leiper's Creek appears named for him.
