Hi Dianne and Linda, My gg grand mother was Mariah or Mary Jane Garner b@1841 and married Josiah Henderson Smith. Do you recognize her. I cannot locate her parents. They were in Maury and surrounding counties. The last lead I had on her was in 1900 in the household of my great grand father in Wayne Co. After that I don't find her. She was 56 yrs old at that time. My great grandfather died in 1912. One of Mary Jane's daughters was Mary Jane Smith Loveless wife of Senator Commodore Daniel Loveless from Maury and Lewis Co .
