hi... glad to finally hear from a MOSS...lol....there are a lot of MOSS in Cooper, Delta Co, Tx... my gr gr grandfather was David Thomas Moss b. 1805 williamson co. tenn, d. williamson co. tenn, m. Mary White Giddens their son...my great grandfather was JAMES ALBERT MOSS b. 3 oct 1838 maury co. tenn , d. 7 july 1921 cooper , delta co. texas , m. 6 feb 1872 lawrence co. tenn to Sarah Ann Cross their son ..my grandfather ALBERT BOYD MOSS b. 28 jan 1880 tx, d. 1 dec 1908 burkburnett , texas, m. Iva Ethel Mccullough.. their son ...my daddy... AARON BOYD MOSS b. 22 may 1905 delta co. tx, d. july 1988 tarrant co. texas, m. Ethel Mae Hastings in Bonham, fannin co. texas... they had 4 daughters....letitia, rose, carolyn and MYRA ( that is me..) i do not know...but i have written and talked to several of the MOSS people there... most agree the line is kin....but i have no proof to it or against it.... i did not know my dad's family....he was the youngest of 4....and the only boy...he and his sisters were born when his mother was young...and when i was born in 1949...they , my cousins of my aunts were married with kids..and one had already had 2 children and died of cancer..... the MOSS line is an interesting line...never dull.......never..lol.... i will look and see if i have any of the other names...and i am going to send this email to another MOSS researcher......drcsjw....... have a wonderful week.... myra piland
