Randy, If they were, I am not aware of it. I'm not sure if my POTTS are related to the ones from Rowan Co., N.C. I can go back to Abner POTTS who perhaps married Elizabeth WEST and moved to Marshall Co., Miss., before 1850. Abner died there and his family moved to Lawrence, Maury and Lewis Cos., Tenn., after 1850. My ancestor was their son, James Henry POTTS, who married Virginia BOLLING.
