I am searching for the date of death for Charles Lewellyn(sp?) between 1821 & 1827 He was married to Sarah Pines Herndon 1821.
Guess I can't get the Crow out of my head. I have a Giles Co Cemetery Book and in Old Cemetery in Pulaski. there is a. L. Back in the 1970's there was a Mrs. Raymond Crow of Beaumont Texasdoing reserch on her Hillhouse Ross Mitchell Sharp families they were from Giles and Lawrence Co Tn and settled in Hickory, Dallas and Laclede Counties in Mo. There are still Crowe or Crow in the telephione directory for this area in Hickory and Dallas Co. The local water Patrolman name was Crow in 1980's Maybe this will give you some clues

Whoever has the Cemetary Book, can you please look up CROW. William Crow was brought to Missouri as a young boy. I assume, his parents died, so chances are, they may be listed. The unfortunate part, is, I don't have any exact dates. William Crow married Sarah Bolles in 1857, so my guess is he was probably born about 1835. He was brought to Laclede County, Missouri about 1843. So Somewhere around 1840 to 1843, his parents must have died. He was supposed to be from Maury Co., Tn.. Now, I am confused how he came to Mo. Seeing he traveled with the Lowery, Bolles, Mizer families. They were all from Warren County, Kentucky. I can find nothing to give me any insight to his family line. Can anyone shed some light? He may have had brothers and sisters but I don't see any evidence there were any. Thanks for any assistance. Happy Holly Daze! Sooz

This same problem has happened to me, and I don't know what to do about it. I was kind enough (when asked) how my family tied in with a certain surname. I had already sent information up to my grandparents who are both dead. So after being asked, I sent it, and informed him it "was for his own personal use, since we were cousins". He has copied my data word for word, and put it on FTM as his research. I have emailed him, and also FTM with no response from either, asking them to take it down immediately.
