    2. Joan Rogers
    3. Researching Coons: Lauria [multiple spelling-Laura, Louise,Laurella, etc.] Coons [multiple spellings-Koons, Koon, Kuhns, Coontze, Kounce, etc.] born in Maury County, Tennessee, circa 1813, father John Coons. She married David Williams [born circa 1809 in Montgomery County, Kentucky] on Oct 28, 1832 in Montgomery County, Indiana. They had at least two children - Nathan Jefferson and Rebecca Justine Williams. They moved to Illinois, then possibly to Iowa. Unfortunately, I have no other Coons or any other reference to Maury County. Lauria Coons has also been documented as Lauria Jackson Coons. I do not know if this a middle, maiden, or married name. The parents of David Williams [father -Nathan, mother - unknown] were supposedly from Virginia. Any help is appreciated. 2. G Stephens
    3. I have two John Hensley's (so does everybody else - I know). One of these is probably a son of William Hensley married to Nancy Gardner. Does anyone else have anything on these people. Kathleen Grone has John and Esther Hensley as son of William but according to 1850 Lewis County census that John was born in Virginia. Anybody else have an opinion? Does anyone have anything on John Franklin Hensley? John Franklin Hensley born about 1826, was married first, most likely to Elinor shown in 1850 census below. In 1860 census Elinor is gone and John is shown with seven children. 1850 Lewis County Census John F. Hensley 24 both born in Tennessee Elinor 22 John Hensley married Easter Johnston on April 19, 1829 in Maury County, TN. 1850 Lewis County Census John G. Hensley 43 born in Virginia (occupation=Methodist Esther 45 born in Kentucky clergyman) Elizabeth E. 16 Gabriel P. 11 (All children born in Tennessee)
