Hi, I am new to this list and am just begining to look for information about a family of TAYLORs that was listed on the 1830 Maury County census. According to records, the family is listed as follows: William Taylor pg 362 1 1 0 0 0 1 1 2 0 0 0 1 This would make William born between 1791-1800. Does anyone have any information on this family or others who are related? Did they remain in area? Did they move on to another state of county? Who did they marry? Where did they come from? Does anyone have an 1840 census that would be willing to look and see if they are listed in 1840? Any suggestions or information would be appreciated. Thanks, Monica

I was wondering if you would mind looking up a Dack Smith.He was b. ab.1819,but I will take any Dack Smith that you find.My ancestors came from Maury,Hickman,Lewis&Perry Co.'s,but I have a good deal of info on them. After trying to help a fellow researcher on a couple of marriage lookups, I thought I might add that there seem to be no North Carolina marriages listed. Reference query about when Christopher Fitzgerald arrived in Maury County, TN. He purchased 87-1/2 acres on Snow Creek for $240 from Thomas Hanks on 17 August 1809. However, some Fitzgeralds were in the area by 1806, and Christopher probably arrived 1808-09.

That is the only marriage that came up between Allen and Boshers on a CD I have that I bought from LDS. Hope this helps. Joyce, Century Review of Maury County has many "ALLEN". Boshears, Della, Fanny, Jack, and John. Page 144, Allensville: Two miles west of Mt. Pleasant on Big Bigby is located the store of W. H. Allen, which was opened, 1897, and carries a stock of genral merchandise. He was born in Wayne co., 1872; is a son of A.P. and Columbia (Fowler) Allen, came to Maury Co. in childhood, and was farming until he opened his store. He married Della, dau. of Jack and Fanny (Bell) Boshears. they have one child, Myrtle. If you want more on Allen give me the first names.
