Charles married Millie Catherine Inman Jan 1900 in Linden, Perry, TN. Charles' parents were John and Mary Martin and he had a sister named Alice. Have found various clues but nothing concrete. Various family trees give Mary's maiden name as Bearden and Charles death certificate gives her maiden name as Mary Keeling. I was unable to find Chas & Millie (Kate) in the 1900 US Census. I did find a John & Mary Martin in 1900 in Linden, Perry, TN with mother-in-law Nancy Bearden. Next door was an Allice & Wm J Dycus. Also found these folks in 1910 in Gibson County. Could not find John, Mary or the Dycus' in 1920. There is a John & Mary Martin in Maury County in 1880--however, no Charles is listed. They do have a son John and a daughter Allice and mother-in-law Nancy Bearden, b about 1820 NC NC NC. In 1900 her date of birth is given as 1827, b. TN TN TN. I found Charles & Millie Martin in the 1910 US Census in Gibson Cty, TN; 1920 in Davidson County, TN; 1930 Charles in Flint, Genesee, Michigan. Would appreciate any help with these folks!!!
