Hi Martha, I don't have a lot on the BRADENS, but would like to have more. I have a marriage record of WILLIAM W. BRADEN to ELIZABETH S. MAY dated January 19, 1853, Marshall County. They seemed to have had three children: Mary Ellen, Sam, and Bill, born respectively 1857, 1859, and 1860. (Note date of last child). Then there is a marriage of M.B. THOMAS to Elizabeth S. BRADEN, dated April 22, 1867, Marshall County. They had several children to include my Grandfather. In the 1880's this family moved to Weakley County, Tennessee. Elizabeth MAY and Elizabeth BRADEN are the same person as I recall family members saying my Grandfather Lewis THOMAS had a stepbrother called Bill BRADEN. It is my belief that William W. BRADEN was possibly killed in the civil war as there is a William BRADEN listed with the 11th Tenn. Calvary. M.B. THOMAS is also listed with HOLMANS Calvary, which became part of the 11th. The 11th was recruited in Marshall County. That is about all I know. If you find more, please let me know. Charlie Campbell
