My great grandfather was Thomas Winston Wakefield, born January 30, 1850, died January 19, 1918, and his wife, Martha Adelaide Cunningham Wakefield, born March 1851, died in 1934. One of their children, Bell Zana is also said to be buried in Cornersville. She was born March 16, 1890. My grandmother's brother, last name Enloe, may be located in the same cemetery but I am not certain. I have driven through the cemetery in Cornersville (Beechwood?) and explored a bit there to no avail. I am not sure that Brick Church is in Marshall County, but they could be buried there, but I have not found the graves. My grandparents raised their family in Cornersville, but are buried in Shelbyville. There is another Wakefield family in Marshall county that does not appear to be related to this family...tho who knows! Again, thank you for your generosity.
