Dear Lem, I may be able to help you indirectly. I am searching for info on Jonathan Thomas and Susan Hayes who were m. on 6/4/1828. I don't know where. They had several children including my ggrandmother, Susan Cassandra Thomas who m. William Everette Musgrave, my ggrandfather. She had at least five brothers whos erved in the Confederate Army, two of them killed or dying right after the B. of Stone's River. George C. Thomas must have had a daughter or granddaughter to marry a Hopper because my old family dentist, Charles THOMAS Hopper told my mother once that his grandfather was George Thomas. I don't know whether he was speaking of the brother of Susan C. or his son. Anyway, that's how I'm related to the Thomases and indirectly to the Hoppers.
