Re: McAdams Cemetery Six of my ancestors are buried in a family cemetery on what was the original home place in Lincoln County, TN. I went there last spring to take pictures, and called the owner of land to get permission and also let them know we wanted to go to plot. I was told by the owner of the old place that you did not need permission to go onto land to go to family cemetery. There is a law about this. Don't know if it is state or national law. However, if there is a property owner who is uncooperative, then they might need to be reminded of this law, as certainly, no one wants to be in danger over this situation. You might check this out at courthouse in county before you take my word. JPR
