Joyce, I think you are absolutely correct. There are many small family cemeteries in our country that are becoming "extinct" each year, way too many. As time goes by, many cemeteries just disappear. With their disappearance goes part of our history and part of our heritage. I do not want that to happen to the McAdams Cemetery in Marshall County. In our case, I can not believe a McAdams descendant could be so evil that she would deliberately destroy the cemetery of her ancestors. She did her best to wipe out an integral part of the McAdams heritage in Marshall County. She nearly succeeded. If I had not become interested in my McAdams heritage in Tennessee, she would have succeeded. That's horrible. Now I am trying to undo what she did.
