They had five children, three of which were still living with their mother and step-father in 1880. The 1880 listing has an error - Sallie J Shearin is not Elijah's daughter-in-law but rather is his step-daughter. Dora Shearin is actually the daughter-in-law, wife of Grayson Shearin.
