Tn Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tn/Marshall?read=817 Surname: DETHROW, DETHERROW, DETTERO, DOTHEROW, HOFFMAN ------------------------- I am searching for the parentage of 3 boys: ELIAS "ELI" DETHROW (b1825-26); DAVID DOTHEROW (b1825); and JOSEPH C. DETHERO (B1821). 2 were sent away by stepmother after father died. 1 was sent away or ran away around 1838-1840, before father died, but father died soon thereafter. The 3 boys would have been split up around the 1838-1840 time. At least one (ELI) was sent to be raised by an old doctor. Know that there were several Dethrows in Marshall County, and boys listed on census later that they were born in Tennessee. All three boys found their way to Mississippi. I am also searching for the name of the 3rd DETTERO brother who came over from Germany with JOHANN/JOHN DETTERO (who married Mary HOFFMAN) and BALZAR DETTERO, his brothers. Don't know 3rd brother's name or anything about him. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
