There is a Samuel F. Tillman in Byron Sistler's transcription of the 1830 census of Maury Co. He has two daughters under ten and two sons under ten. This may be the portion of Maury Co which became Marshall in 1836 (which is the same year Coffee Co was formed). Carolyn Odle Smotherman
