There is also a DOXEY, Daniel found in the 1830, Davidson Co., TN Census and a DOXEY, Daniel in the 1840 Marshall Co., TN Census. In addition there is a DOXEY, Daniel found in the "Inmates of the State of Tennessee State Pen.", 1831 - 1850, A - K. DOXEY, Daniel, Malicious Stabbing, age 33, Marshall Co., Ledger Vol. 43, Record Group 25. In the 1880 Dis. 8, Rutherford Co., TN Census I find listed DOXY, Dincilla, 47, Widow.
