    3. I am seeking any reference to Thomas GRANT's death in 1838 in Marshall County, TN. According to the Court Records, his estate was referenced 5 -6 times beginning in January 1839 and continuing into 1841. I am specifically looking for any reference that might suggest that he was killed by Indians. Thomas was married to Sarah E. Glover, whose sister, Christina, was married to James Davis. Christina and James lived and died in Marshall County. Sarah E. Glover Grant moved with rest of family to Texas in 1840 via Pontotoc and Harrison County, Mississippi.
