Ethlene (Short) Mauldin died on June 11th, 2000, at 2:45 P.M., from Congenital Heart Failure at the age of 89. She would have been 90 years of age on the 27th of June. She was born in Marshall County to James Lawson"Skillet" Short and Nannie F. Womack. She is survived by her sister Erybee Short Moeller; brothers - Glendal Short, Hugh Short, and Ollie Royce Short. Also surviving her are several nephews; Richard Short of Fayetteville, TN.; Dennis Short of Seattle, WA.; David Short of Cincinnati,OH.; Michael Moeller of Lebanon, Ohio; Lionel, James, & Rick Short of Middletown,Ohio; and Robert Short of Orlando,Florida. At the time of death, Ethel was living in a nursing home outside of Lebanon, Ohio, with her sister Erybee. Ethel will be greatly missed in this world. She was a wonderful family member and a true caring person for her community and her church. Services will be on Thursday and burial will be on Friday, June 14th,2000. She will be buried next to her late husband, J. B. Mauldin, of Marshall County, who is buried in Lebanon Cemetery, Warren County, Lebanon, Ohio.
