Lois, The closest I can come to your Algernon Marsh is Allan D. Marsh (May 2, 1870 - Feb 11, 1918) who married Ora Waters. Allan is buried at Head Springs Cemetery in Belfast, Marshall County, Tennessee. Ora is a cousin whom unfortunately I know very little about her. She did grow up in Marshall County and graduated from Hayes - McLean School in Lewisburg in 1894.
