Hi Jim, Since noone else has answered this, I'll give it a try. The Family Tree Maker program can generate a file called GEDCOM. It is like a "universal genealogy format" for lack of a better description. If they aren't too big they can be emailed. The county websites don't have the space to store all these files. Rootsweb now lets you put your GEDCOM files online http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ <a href="http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/">click</a> and I think there are a few others that accept them, like ancestry.com.
