Julia, I am researching Dr. BENJAMIN F.WOODWARD(b. abt 1832) that married NANCY JANE CURTIS (b. abt. 1843)on 11/20/1865 in Bedford County, Tennessee. The 1870 Bedford Co. census shows they had one son named William, age 3/12. I believe Benjamin may be the son of JOHN WOODWARD (b. 9/3/1801 in Va, d. 7/7/1881) and MARY ELIZABETH MAYES.
