James R. was my gggrandfather. His daughter Tennessee was my ggrandmother on my fathers side of the family. I to have hit a brick wall on him and his wife Sarah Wilson. According to the 1880 census records, He was born in North or South carolina. They came to Yell Co. Ar. before 1861 because Tennessee was born here on April 18, 1861. She married Benjamin Geurian on May 27, 1880 here in Yell Co. Benjamin Geurian is also hard to locate because sometime before 1880 they changed the spelling of their name. Someone out there knows something I feel like. But finding them is the hard part of it. Hope to hear from you when you have the time. Evelyn
