List , I am new to the list so I hope someone can help and I can help some of you. I just read on the Marshall Co. TN Genweb site the will for William COWDEN, dated 1839. It states his property is to be divided among his children, but the children are not listed. Does anyone know who they were? Could one be Martha A. COWDEN who married Joseph E. SIMMONS in 1832 in Marshall Co, and the two took their family to Lamar County, TX about 1845 via Missouri on the 1840 census? Also, Simmons related to Joseph were Sallie 1815 - 1881, Margaret b 1802, and Malinda, d aft 1865 and was married to Alexander LONG. These last 3 sibblings remained in Marshall Co.
