Mobly, b. possibly in Georgia or Marshall Co., Al. and died before Feb.6, 1984, 1st wife of John C. Horton b. abt. June, 1886,and married 1885 in Marshall County, Al. Children would be Ester Lather Horton Bowen (Boen) b. Novv. 1, 1889 and Oscar Horton b. June, 1886. Both Pocahuntas and John died in Marshall Co., Al. and may be buried in Rock Springs. I have heard Pocahuntas' name brought up in several family discussions as Aunt Pokie but never any reference to being my great grandmother. Could someone check the Marshall County, Al. for Pocahuntas H. Mobly, John C. Horton, Ida Adams, and Oscar Horton. This would be the first part of the email that I sent concerning info on John C. and Ida Adams-Horton that was posted earlier this week. any info would be greatly appreciated.
