I have a similar lawsuit that hasn't been found either. It was in KY, and the courthouse burned. If you live in Marshall County, TN, you might try the records that were not classified. A few years ago, the Marshall County Historical Society members were cleaning those records and boxing them up to be kept. I don't know where they are. The court house is small, so they may have been placed in another building. Lawsuits provide a great deal of information. Check the Court Dockets for the period in which the suit was filed.
