    3. I recently learned of a story regarding Thomas Grant, husband of Sarah Glover Grant, who died in 1838 and is mentioned several times in the Marshall County Court Records between January 1839 and 1841 regarding the settlement of his estate. As the story goes, Thomas was killed by Indians, which may account for the reason his grave has never been identified. If he was killed by Indians, it may have occurred while he was traveling in Marshall County or possibly Maury or Bedford County...possibly another county. My source thought he had read it in the Marshall County Probate Records. But, I have been unsuccessful in finding the entry in any of the records online. Does anyone have access to all the county records and might be of assistance in locating the above mentioned reference? Thanks.
