Surnames: Spradling Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zhB.2ACI/1087 Message Board Post: Elijah Spradling, in his obituary of Oct 17, 1890 states that Elijah was born on Sept 16, 1824 in Marshall Co., MO. Since Marshall Co. wasn't in existance at that time, I assume they were referring to an 1890 map location. I have no records of Elijah or his potential parents. He was raised by Rachel Spradling who probably his mother, but it takes two to create a child. Rachel Spradling was never married. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to continue my search for his birth parents?
