Do you know where your James Patterson was from? My husband's line back to the DAR goes through Jesse McClain (Flora's husband), with no info on Flora's parents. The McClain's came from Guilford Co. NC to claim land based on Jesse's father's Revolutionary War service. Next time I'm in touch with the DAR, I'll inquire about James (unless someone else already knows and wants to share!). Linda Lang
