    2. Happy Holidays Fellow Researchers! I am wondering if anyone on this list can tell me where Juriah Frances Middlebrook is buried?? She was married to Joseph M. Kirk on 17 Jan 1856 in Fayette Co., TX. She died 14 Feb. 1886 in Lewisburg, TN. I don't know when or where Joseph died. I would really like to get a photo of her marker! Karen

I've estimated Lydia's birth about 1833 based on Census and believe she died sometime after 1870 but before 1880, again based on census. My g-grandmother was Dorothy "Dollie" Susan Vaughn, the oldest child of Peter & Lydia. After Lydia died, my g-grandmother had the responsibility of raising her younger siblings. I've never found the cemetery Peter & Lydia were buried in but believe it was probably around Belfast (Marshall Co.), TN. To the best of my knowledge, Peter never remarried. Based on census, he was still alive in 1880.

    2. Looking for any information on Willis Collins who died about 1854 in Marshall Co. according to the Goodspeed History. Had son named Thomas who was born in Georgia July 27, 1818.  He was an overseer in the latter State, and came to Tennessee in 1826, where he became the possessor of nearly 1,000 acres of land. He was a soldier under Jackson, and in politics was an old- line Whig. He died in 1854. The mother lived to be about eighty-four years of age. (Goodspeed's History of Marshall County, 1886) Trying to determine if he had a son named Henry. Would like to locate a copy of a will for him if anyone has the will index.
