    3. To clarify, I can still do the WBTS lookups. It is just the Cemetery lookups that are so time consuming. The book is indexed only by surname and common names have scores of entries. 2. Check on the Louisville and Nashville line. (L & N). In TN, the L & N constructed a 94-mile liine from Brentwood to Athens, AL, via Lewisburg (Marshall CO.) and built a new line from Knoxville to Atlanta. In the 1890s Smith's (the president of L & N) stubborn style proved less effective in facilitating the management-labor relations In the 1890s Smith's unwillingness to comprmise with unions landed the L & N the reputation of a company unfriendly to labor. 3. >From Goodspeed History of Marshall County found at http://genweb.net/~doctor/history/gdspmars.shtml "Marshall County was established by an act of the Legislature passed February 1836. It included fractions of Lincoln, Bedford and Maury Counties, when first organized, and in 1870 a part of Giles County, known as the Cornersville District, was given to Marshall. In establishing the first boundaries the line between Marshall and Maury placed nearer the county seat of the latter than the law allowed, and it was so changed to conform to the law. In 1871 the line on the west was again slightly changed to slightly changed to include the farms of John B. Wilkes and John Coffey, in Marshall.
