Ida first off , THANK YOU for cleaning up the cemetery. I for one really appreciate your effort and also know how important it is to show the respect to those gone on before us. I also am very aware of what hard work this is to get all the clean up done. Also thank you for accepting the flags from those fellows and placing them on the veterans graves. Wish we could personally thank them, but I am positive that you did that already. Also would like to add the name of Jesse Herbert McBee, WW I, buried in Cumberland View July 1968, to the list of veterans to be honored. The cemetery surely looked better when we left than when we got there. Two gentlemen were over in the Gaines Cemetery side putting flags by the graves of the Vets. When they started to leave, they gave us several flags to use in decorating graves of the Vets in the Gilliam Cemetery.
