Linda sent the picture in to us that Iley just put on the web and she also asked the following-- I thought perhaps some of you have had more experience with this than I have and can help her out better. I've just recently found the graves of my Dad's grandparents and I wondered if you could help me? This grave yard is in very bad shape. We're not sure how many graves are actually there or who owns the land. Is there anyone I can contact to make sure the graves don't disappear altogether? I know for a fact that there are two civil war veterans buried there. I have information showing that the G.A.R. decorated their graves. To get there at Powells Crossroad turn onto East Valley Rd (I think that's the name) going toward Dunlap. Go about 3 3/4 miles and the road is on the right. The last time we were there, there was a single wide trailer sitting there and the graves are a little ways behind the trailer on the right. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thank you so much.
