    1. Re: [TNMARION] Help with surnames Smith and Martin
    2. Darlene... the 1920 census which I may have wrote 1930 earlier if I did that was a typo ..in 1920, Marion Tenn census 4th district shows Martin, Thomas age 42 head of the house Amanda age 41 as his wife Sarah 18 daughter Turner , Henrietta age 17 step daughter and looks like divorced William age 16 and step son Ernest age 14 step son... on this same census is a Smith family and a Turner family maybe I have two families confused....but Henrietta is who started this whole search for me.. she was my grandmother, she had two brothers named William and Ernest..also was told by one of Henrietta daughters that Henrietta had a sister who was crippled... I am thinking its Sarah... in 1930, Henrietta is deceased and so is Sarah, with Thomas and Mandy is listed Ernest, Gladys and violet and Charlie powers as grandson. So I am 99 % positive this is my family line.. due to Charlie being in the home..someone correct me if I am wrong.. Thanks for helping out! deb In a message dated 4/3/2008 10:37:21 A.M.
