I'm researching the following in Marion Co. TN, Dade Co. GA, and Dekalb Co. AL: Any MCBEE, but especially Rev. Samuel MCBEE, b. 1785 in SC, d. 1862 in Dade Co. GA, md. 1) Ellender STANDRIDGE, 2) Mrs. Millea FRANCIS (widow of Josiah FRANCIS, nee MAXWELL) Thomas MAXWELL b. abt 1780, d. ?, md. Mary CAMPBELL (?), had children: Jeremiah, Ebenezer, Calvin, Malliah/Mahala, Millea/Millie, John. Tennessee MCBEE, d/o Samuel and Millea MCBEE, md. Cumming SIMPSON. He d. in the Civil War and I'd like to find what happened to her. Millea MCBEE's first husband, Josiah FRANCIS, d. 1836. Any FRANCIS researchers know who his parents were? Millea and Josiah FRANCIS's daughter, Malliah, md. Harmon COOPER. After he d. 1879 in Marion Co., she moved to Cass Co. TX where her mother and several siblings lived.
