I am the grandson of Washington Turner. My mother was the first child of his marriage to Mary Horn. Mother's name was Mary Callie Catherine Turner. She married Richard Turner Simpson in 1881. I was the 7th child of that marriage. b. Jasper may 14 1906. I am trying to find Washington's ancestors. I am rather certain that his father was John Turner who moved to Middle TN from VA. There were lots of John Turners but I am unable to tell which was Washington"s father Can anyone help? I was last in Jasper 1978 and visited the cemetery where my mother, father , 2 ssters anda brother are buried. I will be very grateful for help.
