I am especially interested in the Kilgores as My Great Grandfather (paternal) James Benjamin Levan/Lavan b:, III [of TN] was first married to Nancy Elizabeth Kilgore, who died abt 1880 (my grandfather James Benjamin Levan b:, IV [of TN] who was sometimes called FATE was abt seven years old then). My Great Grandmother Nancy Elizabeth Kilgore b:Nov 20, 1848 Marion Co., TN d:Jun 14, 1879 buried:bd:Mt Zion Cem, Marion Co.,TN; (On Marion Co.,TN 1870 Census) was the first wife of JBL-III. She had the following children of which I have not been able to find anything about them after the death of Nancy Elizabeth Kilgore Levan: Margaret Maggie Ellen Levan - born abt 1867/1868 Alas (Alice) Levan - born abt 1875/1876 I have not been able to find anything about this part of her family. Also any info on her ancestors would be greatly appreciated. AS I have a little on her family of origin as:Descendants of William Kilgore which are described below my signature line in Outline Descendant Format from my Family Tree Maker software. My great grandfather JBL3 married again to his 2nd wife: Mary Lou "Lula" Sampley with whom he had his 2nd family of 5 girls and 3 boys.
