I wonder if the Marion Co STREETS are related to the STREETS of Franklin Co. A William STREET wrote a will 30 June 1836/Proved 9 Jan 1837, one of his children was named Anthony. This William STREET also had among other children a Sarah P. STREET, In the Alabama Records, Jackson Co- Vol 19 compiled by Pauline Jones Grandrud: "Charles CRISMAN and wife, Martha, John DOHERTY and wife, Sarah DOHERTY, William THURMAN and wife, Honor THURMAN, James BLEDSOE, and wife Elizabeth BLEDSOE and Elizabeth STREET, widow of William STREET, deceased, all heirs of said William STREET, deceased, formerly of Franklin Co TN, to John EVANS of Jackson Co AL 17 Feb 1840." I have in Marion Co TN a John DOUGHERTY Jr. who was on the 1836 Tax list in Marion Co, in my DOUGHERTY family who had a wife Sarah (Maiden name unknown) , not sure when they married.
