I received this information, along with some pictures, from a lady that is not subscribed to our list. I thought in light of all of the summer vacations about to be embarked on or undertaken, that this information could be very useful . Bridgeport is just across the line from Richard City or South Pittsburg . Does any one have any information on the Devils Punch bowl in Richard City, Tn. that was located above the cement plant? I understand the rock quarry destroyed it with the blasting? I work there and we have alot of great old pictures-dating back to the late 1800's, old store ledgers, genealogy papers, and antique articles. A great place to go. We have original documents dating back to 1826. Some of the names in our files are Glover, Jones, Gunter, Kirkpatrick, and Kilpatrick, just to name a very few. We have hundreds of surnames with original documents in every folder. We're just getting started and need the advertisement.
