II There is one listing for Burnett, pg. 267 February Session 1809 - Listing of unpaid taxes - names (among others) Wm. "Burnet" 188 acres - taxes $0393.2 1/2 (Which really makes no sense as another person, Lewis Edwards had 250 acres and owed tax of $1.24 1/5!) My research in Grainger suggests that the early "law makers" in Grainger were quite a law onto themselves! Victoria Toms
