Looking for information on a woman named Mary Catherine TROY b. July 20, 1860 poss. in Ireland d. March 21, 1916 who married Josiah Conn MCBEE about 1882 -88 and lived in the Marion and Franklin Co., Tn area. Her father's name according to death cert. was Patrick TROY and mother was a McBRIDE. Family oral history says she was an only child but had 1/2 brothers back in Ireland. Wouldn't it be a little unusual for a woman to have come all the way to TN from Ireland under the age of 23 without another family member? Sincerely, Jean P. McBee
