    2. Hi All: Since I was born in Richard City, which all of you know was closer to the Ala. State Line, my Relatives used Ala. My Grandparents were married in Jackson County, and also are buried in Alabama. Convenience of how close Bridgeport, AL. was, as opposed to travelling to Jasper, TN. is very obvious. We have to also remember that transportation was very limited years ago. If you had to hire someone to transport you to any event, it would have been more economical to use the nearest place. Ruth

    3. that is very true Ruth and apparently those living in the South Pittsburg area did do the majority of their business in Al or Ga. I also know a lot of ours went back and forth to Franklin County too--- However I am not sure they moved as much as they kept switching the county line from Marion to Franklin Betty . ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 5:56 AM Subject: Re: [TNMARION] WWI Soldiers | Hi All: | | Since I was born in Richard City, which all of you know was closer to the | Ala.
