I received this note about our own Dr John Simpson from his daughter last evening. I have received permission from her to let all of you know. -- For you new comers to the list Dr John was born in Jasper, Some of his stories are posted on our web site of his early memories . Hello Friends and family: I wanted to update everyone about Daddy's health/situation. I have arranged to move him tomorrow to Bishop Spencer Place, 4301 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri, 64111. He will continue to be on a Medicare Skilled unit, but due to his confusion , weakness, and very frail condition, I suspect that this will end up being a long term placement. The facility is a wonderful one, and I know he will be as comfortable as one can be in a nursing home. I know he wants to make it to 100, and I am confident that he has a very good chance of doing so at Bishop Spencer!
