There's limited information in Marion County for that far back. I've not had much luck with mine either, but I figured this tool might be helpful to someone. Maybe Euline could give us some tips on sources for deaths in Marion before the official records started. It's not a complete listing. What I was told by someone at TSLA was that whether a person shows up there or not depends a lot on where they died and whether their family reported the death to the census taker.
