My g-grandfather was James William Patrick and his father was William Patrick. We think that William was born about 1850. I have heard mention of a Beersheba somewhere in the family, but don't know if there's a connection to the Patricks. It seems that a lot of my lines (even the ones that I know to have lived in Grundy and Warren Counties) have lived in Marion Co. at one time or another. On the Rawlings side, I've not seen that sketch. I'd like to take a look at that. I know the name is spelled several ways (Rollins, Rawlings, Rollings). Nancy was the daughter of James Lewis Rawlings and Mary Hargis. Do you know if the book you mentioned "Hamilton County Pioneers" is still available? I know that J. L. Rollings (Nancy's nephew) wrote several books, but as far as I know, none are still in print. Thanks for the information.
