Amon/Arron/Amos COX was born 1773-1777 VA., and, when I found this about Abel COX I wondered how he may be connected to him. My BARLEW-BERLEW-BALEW-BALLEW-BELEW-BELLEW-BALOU-BALLOU family line was also in Marion Co., TN. and married to this COX family. In the 1830 Census of Marion Co., TN. is Rebecca BELLEW, head of household. I have collected everything I can find online for this BARLEW family, even ordered their pension files, but have never been able to find out who Mr. BARLEW was that died before the 1830 Census. I have found a lot of information for his descendants of Marion Co., but nothing giving his name. If anyone ever runs across that information, I would sure appreciate hearing of it. Again, many thanks Tim. Gloria Hursey Ghursey2@aol.com
