Hi Yvonne: Thanks for the information. I think we must be talking about 2 different George Washington Thompsons. This is what I have on ours..... George Washington Thompson was the town blacksmith and married Mary Jane Smith. They had 4 children: Nancy A. (she died at age 28, but we don't know if she ever married) Horace (died as an infant about 1899) Frankie Lee (daughter who died at age 1 about 1902) Mary Elizabeth (married Wesley Newton Taylor and had 3 children: Sarah Jane, George Newton and William Arthur Taylor) George Washington, Mary Jane and Horace Thompson are all buried in the City Cemetery in So. Pittsburg. There are other Thompsons from this line buried there also.
