My Dad lives on the Collins River on the other side of Beersheba Mountain (on 56 Hwy heading toward McMinnville). That's why it struck me as odd that this school was way out at Gruetli. They were doing a lot of logging in those days for work, so I imagine my grandfather moved them back up the mountain. His family was from the Gizzard, so that could be why too (closer to them). Duh!
