Thought perhaps I should introduce my self with that wonderful introduction Noel just gave me. LOL My Husband Frank , was raised in the South Pittsburg , Tn area. Although he left the area in 1961 , all of his relatives pretty much are still there , so we try to stay connected to Marion County. Guess you could say that is where our heart still remains? This web site belongs to all of us, as does this list. In my humble opinion it is only as good as we want to make it, as a group. http://www.noelm.com/marion/home.html I would truly appreciate any in -put from you on how we could spark up this sight and make it more useful to every one. Please don't hesitate to send me or Noel information that pertains to Marion County. Right now I have been thinking of putting on a page of memories from early residents of Marion County . If you know of any one that remembers the early days , please help me out here by sending their memories on to us. Even yours of how things have changed would be great too. . I will gladly format them in to story form, if you like, and send them back to you for your approval, before entering them on the web page if this will work out better for you . Another idea I have is adding pictures of Marion County . Now the pictures I have are mainly of South Pittsburg area, and not a whole lot at that. :-) . If you have any pictures , and are willing to share please send them to me along with a brief description of where and aprox. when it was taken. Old post cards would be great as well . Any other ideas? Please remember -- this is all of our web sight and will only be as good as you and I make it. I am looking forward to hearing from all of you .
